Wolverine, from Marvel Comics, ranks one of the top five greatest super heroes. And why not? With regenerative abilities, animal-keen senses, retracting claws, and enhanced strength, it is easy to see his mysterious appeal. Your child will love an awesome Wolverine Birthday Party!
For quick and easy invitations, download and print an image of Wolverine to paste to the front of your cardstock. Write, “Calling All Superheroes!” as well as your party details. Encourage your guests to come as their favorite X-Men or Marvel Comic Super Hero. The option of pre-made invitations is available, too. While you are at it, go ahead and get a coordinating party supply pack that comes with everything you might need to entertain.
Since your child will want to be Wolverine, have him wear the signature claws! As the rest of the Heroes arrive, get started with activities like:
- Destroy the Villains: print images of Marvel Comic villains onto cardboard and set up in various locations. The Heroes must defeat the Villains by throwing water balloons at the cardboard targets.
- Super Hero Obstacle Course: All heroes need to train, so have things for them to crawl through, jump over, climb on, etc
- Tug of War: since most of the Heroes tend towards the loner side of things, a good team activity will enhance togetherness.
After their hard work, Wolverine and his fellow heroes will need to re-energize with foods like burgers, fries, fruit salad, and roasted vegetables.
While Wolverine’s catch phrase is: “I’m the best there is at what I do, but what I do isn’t very nice,” you can proudly say that the Wolverine Birthday Party you planned is very nice. Very nice indeed.
