With the two movies in the past few years, Transformers are the hottest thing since sliced bread for kids everywhere! Cool alien robots can open up the imagination for just about anyone. Your child will love a Transformers Birthday Party!
To make simple invitations, cut your black or grey cardstock into the shape of the Autobot Logo for your template. Using red cardstock, cut out the facial shapes (see the picture) to paste to the template. On the back, write something like, “Join Leader Optimus Prime at…” If that seems a little too intensive, you can purchase invites featuring Bumblebee, as well as matching party supplies.
Get the kids moving and energized with fun games like:
– Find the Allspark: hide a little box (spray paint it silver) and send two teams (Autobots and Decepticons) out to find it
– Autobot & Decepticon Tag
– The Cube Relay: a relay race where they have to carry a cube on a spoon (and pass it to the next person’s spoon). You can use sugar cubes, caramels, or any box shape that fits on a spoon.
The kids will love a party favor box filled with stickers, toys, and their own Autobot mask.
Let the party guests create their own robot pizza faces onto English muffins with cheese, pepperoni or ham slices, sliced red bell peppers, olives, mushrooms, and pineapples. Yum! Hot dogs, French fries, fruit, and vegetable plates are suitable foods, too.
Your Transformers Birthday Party will be more than meets the eye!
