The mystery, the intrigue, the … Scooby Snacks! Our kids love it just as much as we did, so let’s yell “Scooby-Dooby-Dooooooo” for a Scooby Doo Birthday Party!
Before setting up your party location as a spooky mystery scene, make up your invitations by printing our Scooby-Doo and gluing him to green cardstock. Write out your event details inside. If you prefer, you can get some pre-made invitations that feature Scooby Doo in all his doggy glory.
You can get the party started with a mysterious scavenger hunt – Someone stole Scooby Doo’s Scooby Snacks and the kids, while following written clues, must make their way past ghosts and goblins to retrieve them! It’s sure to be a thrill! A game of Scooby-Snack Toss will entertain your guests, as well. Draw a picture of Scooby Doo on a cardboard box and cut out his mouth. Have your guests throw bean bags into the hole. Everyone will love going home with their Scooby Doo Party favor box filled with a Scooby Mask, blowout, mini gumball machine, and stickers.
The Scooby Gang had a fondness for “American” food, so serve up pizza, hot dogs, fries, chips & dip, and puppy chow (chex mix with chocolate chips). You can also make up yummy Scooby Snacks by shaping sugar cookies into dog bones before baking. Yum!
While Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby Doo might not actually be in attendance, your kids will have a blast at their Scooby Doo Birthday Party!
