‘Beep… zweerp….beep…I.am.a.ro.bot.” Kids LOVE robots and all the futuristic dreams that they signify! A Robot Birthday Party is a fantastic way to celebrate your child’s special day.
Cut colorful cardstock into squares and cylinders and “piece” them together with brads to create a fun, funky robot. Draw his eyes, mouth, and any other electronic details. Be sure to include your party details on the back. Naturally, purchasing invitations is a great alternative, so feel free to grab matching Robot party supplies. You can even get some cool Robot table centerpieces!
The party will really get rolling with activities like:
– Build a robot: have supplies like paper towel rolls, boxes of all sizes, buttons, glue, markers, and glitter and let the kids construct their robot vision.
– Robot Freeze Tag: played just like freeze tag, except they are robots! It can’t get any better than that!
– Robot Relay: a simple relay race, but all the runners must move in typical robot fashion.
The kids will also enjoy taking home a party favor box filled with robot goodies.
Your partygoers will very much enjoy creating their own Robot Pizza Faces on muffins. Serve it up with cubed cheeses and crackers (for stackable robots), sliced fruits and veggies, and sparkling punch.
While we may wish that we had little robots to complete all these chores for us, seeing the smile on our kid’s faces at this Robot Birthday Party makes it all worthwhile.
