The Power Rangers live-action show has been a popular hit with children for years. While there are various teams (Jungle Fury, Operation Overdrive, or Mystic Force) the premise is always the same: teenagers recruited by a master sage who set out to defeat the bad guy. So, yell “It’s Morphin’ Time,” and put on your party planning costume for a great Power Rangers Birthday Party!
Before you can get going with the party, be sure to order your Power Rangers invitations and supplies. You can also make invitations quite simply by printing out images of the Power Rangers and pasting them to white cardstock. Decorate with themed stickers and party details written inside. Include words like, “Morph over to ____‘s for an awesome party!”
Kids at this age love games and with the Power Rangers as your theme, it will be easy to come up with some that are fun and encourage their energy. Try:
- Power Stone Hunt – paint rocks in bright colors and hide in various spots. Your team of Power Rangers must collect all the magic stones before the evil forces do, or they will be unstoppable!
- Freeze Tag – select one person to act as the Evil Guy (depends on which Team Series the kids prefer, but he can be Morticon, Rita, or Dai Shi). The others are Rangers and line up on one side of the room. They must run to the other side of the room without being tagged frozen by the bad guy.
- Power Rangers piñata! You just can’t go wrong with something that spills out candy!
- Watch the Show!
The kids will be psyched to have their own Power Rangers party favor filled with themed goodies, too.
Dishes that increase the ranger’s natural vigor can include Power Pizza Rolls, Team Apples Slices (find different color apples like red, yellow, green, and pink) with Honey Almond Butter, Sub Sandwiches, trail mix, and energy bars. The kids will be fueled up for more power-packed action!
Earth’s only hope to stop an army of evil invaders is a successful Power Rangers Birthday, so party on!
