My kids are huge Diego fans– they run around saying “¡Ayúdeme!” (help me!) all the time. And since most toddlers do love this adventurous show, a Go Diego Go Birthday Party will be tons of fun.
There are invitations available that look just like Diego’s computer that he uses to research the animals. If you prefer to make you own, you print out an image of Diego and Baby Jaguar to paste to the front of blue cardstock. On the inside, write your party details in black ink.
Prior to the party, hide various toy animals around. As your guests arrive, give them their own telescope and send them off to “rescue” the hidden creatures. After they have found everything, sit in a circle to share facts and trivia about all the different animals they found. Other entertainment can include An Animal Sound Contest, Leap Frog, or Race through the Rainforest (an obstacle course). A Diego Piñata is fun, as well as photos in front of a giant Diego wall decoration!
Kids will love the same food that Diego’s family enjoys like cheese quesadillas, burritos, empanadas, tortilla chips with salsa, arroz con leche (rice pudding), and fresh vegetables. Yum! The variety of flavors will delight the palette.
So gear up for a Go Diego Go Birthday Party (and you won’t even need Rescue Pack!).
