GI Joe: Rise of the Cobra is a wickedly cool movie that has the kids raving. Throwing a GI Joe Birthday Party will rock their worlds!
For a simple invitation, use tan cardstock and print, with block letters, on the front “Official Orders. Classified.” On the back of the invite, print out “Report for Duty at (party details)”. There are some groovy pre-made GI Joe invitations you can use, too.
When your soldiers report for duty, test their skills with a Field Training Obstacle Course. Set this up ahead of time with boxes, cones, or whatever else they can use to jump over, crawl under, shimmy through, or climb on. Afterward, set up a Grenade Launch with green water balloons and a range of targets to hit. Their speed in tense situations will need to be evaluated, as well, with a game of Hot Grenade (played like Hot Potato). Handing out Party Favor Packs with ultra slick aviator glasses and other goodies will enthrall even the toughest warrior.
The unit will undoubtedly be famished before long, so have hot burgers, refried beans, veggie trays, and muffins set out. You can even go to an Army supply store for true military Food Packs, if you wish.
Planning a GI Joe Birthday Party is easy and now that you know, “Knowing is half the battle!”
