Give me a “P – A – R – T- Y! What does that spell? PARTY!!! WOOT!” There are quite a few young girls (and boys!) out there who would love a Cheerleader Birthday Party, so here are some ideas to help with your planning!
To make invitations, cut your invitation cardstock into bullhorn shapes. On the front, in big block letters, write “Ready, Set, Let’s Go!” and include the event details on the back. When you place it in the envelope, include some confetti for a little sparkle. If you prefer, you can purchase some colorful pre-made invitations. In fact, why not go all out with a whole party supply pack that comes with everything!
A Cheerleading Birthday Party should have … well, lots of cheerleaders! As the guests arrive, hand them their bullhorn and/or pom-poms, tie their hair in pony tails, and touch up their faces with a little glitter and lipstick. Then, help the girls develop a cheer routine to perform, complete with music and dance steps. When they are done practicing, the kids will enjoy making their own pennants out of felt, glue, foam letters, patches, and ribbon. Give them a party favor box to take home filled with stickers, bracelets, and other cheer-worthy goodies.
Serve up foods that you would find at a sports complex like pizza slices or hot dogs, French fries, and popcorn. Healthy alternatives, like veggie burgers and fruit kabobs, will be immensely satisfying, too. You can make a Cheerleader Snack Mix made out of Bugle Chips and Cheese Puffs (megaphones and pom-poms, get it?!).
With these peppy ideas, your party guests will have a cheerfully good time at this Cheerleader Birthday Party!
