“Holy Semantics, Batman! You never cease to amaze me!” While Robin was known for his punch lines, Batman was the star of the show and kids love him. So, of course, a Batman Birthday Party is the way to go to defeat the dark forces of birthday boredom!
For an invitation, print out a Batman & Robin Comic Strip and paste to cardstock. If you need to, write in the phrases over the strip in speech bubbles. Another idea is black cardstock cut into the shape of the Batman Emblem and with a gold or silver maker, write in your party details. Of course, a dark and gothic pre-made invite wouldn’t hurt, either.
Set your party up with black streamers, balloons, and cool Batman wall decals to make it look shadowy like Gotham City. Your guests would enjoy creating their own Batman mask, so have a table set up with glue, markers, glitter, and other mask-making materials. Games like Mr. Freeze Music Freeze or a Batman Training Obstacle Course are sure-fire crowd pleasers. Don’t forget to send the kids home with their Batman Party Favor Box!
Food items can be bat-shaped sandwiches, pasta salad, crackers, veggie trays, and ice cream, but add cool batman-themed names to them, like Joker’s Pasta, or Mr. Freeze’s Ice Cream.
While the forces that Batman battles are dark, sinister, and mysterious, your Batman Birthday Party will be fun enough to forget Gotham’s woes.
