Tinkerbell Birthday PartyTinkerbell first appeared in the play Peter and Wendy in 1904 and then in the book of the same name in 1911 by J.M. Barrie.  She became even more popular when Disney released the animated film Peter Pan in 1953.  This cute pixie fairy is dressed in green and sprinkles fairy dust where ever she goes.  She is now the star of her very own movie Tinker Bell.  If your child is a big fan then here are some ideas to help you throw a great Tinkerbell birthday party.

Birthday in a Box has made it so easy to throw a great Tinkerbell party.  They offer everything from Tinkerbell invitations to a Tinkerbell pinata.  Fill each of the birthday party invitations with some sparkling glitter or pixie dust to help set the mood.

Tinkerbell is only heard speaking with a bell like sound in the movie Peter Pan.  Give each of the party guests a tiny bell so that they can carry their own little fairy around with them during the party.  A fun party craft would be to help each guest create their own pair of fairy wings from wire, tulle, gossamer, and elastic.  Paperboard is also a great alternative as well.  Each child can then color their fairy wings however they like.

Fairies tend to be tiny creatures, so make sure that all the food on the buffet is suitable for tiny fingers.  Little finger sandwiches, mini cookies, and petit fours would be perfect Tinkerbell buffet.  With these small details your child’s Tinkerbell birthday party is sure to be a hit.
