Monster Truck Birthday PartyPicture a packed stadium with the spectators all roaring with excitement.  The arena floor has been prepared with a dirt floor before the event can begin.  Now comes the thrum of the engines.  The crowd goes even crazier as the first monster truck appears.  If your child is a fan then a Monster Truck birthday party is sure to be a hit.  Here are some tips for throwing one.

If you would like to make your own Monster Truck party invitations then use the parts of the truck as inspiration.  They are always marked by huge tires.  You can use black and white cardstock to make them.  Use the white cardstock to create the hubcab or rim of the tire.  Print the party details on it and cut into circles.  The cut the black cardstock into larger circles, making small triangular indents all around for the tread.  Glue the white cardstock to the black and you will have the perfect invite.

A fun Monster Truck party activity to to let your guest try their hand at driving a monster truck.  Just on a much smaller scale.  On the tiniest scale use your sandbox and set up obstacles for toy cars to drive over.  On a little bit bigger scale have a couple of remote controlled trucks and let your guests try their hand at navigating an obstacle course and see how many things they can drive over.  Have someone act as an announcer to recap the action.

The menu for this party should center around food that you can find at a Monster Truck rally.  Hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy are all things to have on hand.  Line the buffet with small monster trucks.  Create a monster truck shaped cake or make a sheet cake and frost with a sand colored frosting.  Create some mounds with the frosting and set toy trucks on them.

Your child and their party guests are sure to have a wonderful time at this Monster Truck birthday party.  Don’t forget to take a bunch of pictures and have a great time.
