March Madness is almost here for NCAA Basketball. Men’s and Women’s basketball teams are about to hit the courts to decide who are the champions. The NCAA division II brackets have already been determind with games set to start on Sunday March 15th. March 15th also marks Selection Sunday for Division I. With a broad slate of games to be played, now is the perfect time to make your March Madness basketball party plans.
What a super easy party to make invitations for. Use a circle cookie cutter as a template and trace around onto orange cardstock or construction paper. Draw lines with a black marker or crayon to look like a basketball. Print the party details (when, where, what time, and RSVP info) on the back. Most people find it very convenient to RSVP to an email address these days but as always a telephone number is always acceptable.
A March Madness basketball party is just as much about the game as it is the food. A great TV, comfortable seats to watch, and a buffet of food to choose from is the perfect recipe. Order a party sized pizza from a local pizza restaurant or a party sub. Chips, dips, and salsas are a perfect accompaniment. Serve everything on basketball themed plates, cups and napkins.
A copy of the official NCAA March Madness brackets is a must for each of your party guests. Make sure you have plenty of pens on hand so that they can fill them out with their picks. Some noise makers and team spirit items will help everyone get into the game. Enjoy the fun at your March Madness parties!
