Buzz Lightyear is the star of the hit movie Toy Story. He is a toy that belongs to Andy who once believed he was actually a space ranger in the Intergalatic Alliance. At Disney World he is also the star of one of the most popular rides at the Magic Kingdom, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. Which happens to be on the list of “must rides” by one of our young traveling companions on our upcoming trip. If your child is a fan then they would love a Buzz Lightyear birthday party.
Buzz Lightyear travels through outer space in his rocket ship. Craft invitations in the shape of the his rocket to set the theme for the party. If you are really creative you could place the party details on a separate sheet that slides into and out of the rocket.
His spacesuit is also capable of flying in space with wings and rocket boosters. A great party activity would be to allow each of your guests to make their own wings out of cardboard or paperboard and decorate them. They can then fly around repeating Buzz’s famous line “To Infinity and Beyond!”
Act fast though as it looks like supplies of the Buzz Lightyear birthday party theme is limited. Your child will love having their favorite character as a guest of honor at their party and spending time with their family and friends.
