Bakugan is quite the popular Japanese anime TV series that involves unique creatures possessed by Battle Brawlers. Sega got in on the rage by introducing a game with cards and wickedly cool magnetic, spring-loaded figurines. If your kiddo is into this game, then they will totally dig a Bakugan Birthday Party!
Cut out some maroon or black cardstock into the shape of a circle (that is joined on one side, so it can open like a card) and on the inside, paste an image of your child’s favorite “character.” Write out party details, but remember to ask your guests to bring their own Bakugan figures. There are also some premade invites that feature a Battle Brawler character on the front.
Battle Brawlers are all about PIZZA so be sure to have that on hand! You can also have food shaped like balls (like the figurines!), such as melon balls, meatballs, baby tomatoes, and edamame. Rice Krispy Treats shaped into balls and cupcakes decorated with the theme colors (aim for red, black, and yellow) will sweeten up the most savage warrior. Serve it all up on Brawler tableware and your guests will chow down to fuel for battle!
For the most part, I think your guests will be eager for a Bakugan Tournament! See www.bakugan.com for official rules on this. You can get an awesome Dragon Piñata, too! Regardless of who scores the highest in the tournament, everyone gets sent home with a terrific Bakugan party favor set filled with stickers, Bakugan disc launcher, mask, bounce ball, and Zotz Candies!
We parents may not know much about the Battle Brawlers, but your Bakugan Birthday Party will rock all the kid’s worlds!
