Lions, and tigers, and bears… oh my! Imagine even more! Giraffes, and elephants, and zebras… oh my! Hosting an Animal Planet Birthday Party is a fun concept that really allows your imagination to flourish.
Make your own Animal Planet party invitations by cutting out a card in the shape of your child’s favorite animal, have them decorate the front, and on the inside or back, write out your party details. Or, fold cardstock in half and decorate the front as a grassland scene and fill with animal stickers. At the very least, get some colorful and fun invitations that really get into the spirit of animals. Decorate your party place with lots of animal prints cut out of construction paper, yellow and blue steamers, and perhaps even have animal sounds playing from CD in the background!
Your Animal Planet entrees can be imaginative, if you so desire. How about Monkey Dogs? Place a banana in a hot dog bun and top with peanut butter! Yum! Regular hot dogs and chips are good, too, but be sure to have some animal crackers, a vegetable tray, and pretzels. Your cake can look like an animal’s habitat, like a river edge topped with hippos!
There are so many fun ideas for activities at an Animal Planet Birthday that it is hard to narrow them down. “Animal Bingo” would be a fantastic game! Make your own bingo cards, but with pictures of animals instead of numbers. “Animal Charades” is fun for some of the younger crowd while older kids might enjoy creating animal masks. For the craft, have some glue, feathers, crayons, and construction paper on hand. Your guests will enjoy Animal Planet party favor boxes filled with stickers, binoculars (for their own safari tours), animal bean bag, crayons, an Animal Planet notepad and party blower!
An Animal Planet Birthday Party equals tons of fun for kids of all ages!
