Christmas Party Crafts

Christmas Party CraftsWhen everyone gathers to celebrate Christmas with a party, crafts worked together will really liven things up (and distract from the impatience of waiting for the present exchange). Here are some crafty ideas to get your Christmas Party going right:

  • Magical Snow Globes: collect baby food jars, liquid glycerin, glitter, holiday figurines, and synthetic evergreen tips. Glue your Christmas figures to the inside of the lid. Then, fill the jar almost to the top with a mix of half glycerin and half water. Sprinkle glitter inside before screwing the lid on tight. To prevent leaving, glue the outside edge of the lid (you can use silicone glue), then shake to enjoy!
  • For a bit of pre-packaged help, there are some adorable wall decals in the shape of gingerbread men or gingerbread houses that you can decorate with candy stickers.
  • With simple peppermint candies and gumdrops, you can make adorable snails or mushrooms. This is a fun, and yummy, craft that everyone will get in to.
  • Make holiday garlands to decorate with. Just about anything can be used – construction paper or ribbon chain garlands, popcorn, pinecones, cheerios, or cut circles out of Christmas cards and string together.

Christmas parties are tons of fun, but with a little creative imagination, the concept of togetherness can be taken to a fabulously entertaining new level.
