Little Dino 1st Birthday Party

When our little babies reach the age of one, a fantastically fun birthday party is just the way to celebrate! At this age, most of our kids know about animals and I bet dinosaurs are one of their favorites. If that is the case, get ready for an adorable Little Dino 1st Birthday Party.

Invitations can be easily made by decorating cardstock with a large, printed out dinosaur or lots of little stickers. Write something cute like, “For a roaring good time, come celebrate my 1st birthday!” Of course, there are wonderful pre-made Dinosaur invitations available for purchase. In fact, go ahead and stock up on coordinating Little Dino party supplies and cone hats while you are at it.

Have your birthday baby wear a dinosaur shirt and as the kids arrive, get them involved in games like:

  • A Dino Egg Hunt: hide plastic eggs filled with stickers or finger foods
  • Fossil Dig: hide plastic dinosaur toys in a sand box and watch the kidlets go
  • Dino Hide & Seek: all kids love playing hide and seek, but add the stomps and roars of the dinosaurs to make it especially fun

To feed your ravenous toddlers, offer Dino Chicken Nuggets (I think Dr. Praeger’s still makes the shaped vegetarian nuggets), yogurt, crackers with peanut butter, and chopped fruits and veggies. Top their cake with a #1 candle and quite quickly, their little bellies will be happily filled.

Have a wonderful time at your child’s Little Dino 1st Birthday Party.
